View Full Version : +12 to all items
Ok it's probably a silly question but I found an amulet that says "+12 to all items". I put it on but I don't SEE any change. What am I missing? Or, how does it work?
I'm single play.

Maybe the comp is misinterpreting it wrong?
If not, there is no such amulet that gives ''+12 to all items''. If you're playing or have played OPEN bnet, then the amulet is hacked or duped or some such...
I would like to see a screenshot of this amulet, if you feel like please post one.
As Luckymofo said there isn't such an item and I have no idea what to expect from +x to itemes anyway.
Maybe your language libary is corruptet. Replace the d2lang.dll in your diablo folder (eg. C://Program Files/DibloII/) with the one on the CD to test it.
Btw do you play unmodded and local only?
I said I'm single play. I never go online. There's no hacking, nothing of that kind. I don't even know what modding and all the rest is - I just play single play, no battlenet, no multiplay, just that. :embarassed: *feels silly now*
I think the amulet was a unique. I'll look it up.

There it is. It's the Saracens Chance.
Instead of "items" as I wrote in my previous post, it says +12 to all attributes though. I don't understand that either. Can anyone enlighten me in a language I understand? Thank you.

Check your character screen. Unequip the ammy and note the values of your attributes i.e strength, dexterity, vitality and energy. Then equip amulet. The results would show an addition of 12 to all 4 of these attributes :P Cheers ^^

It is supposed to give +12 strengt, +12 dextereity, +12 vitality and +12 energy.
edit: too slow :undecided:
Right! My language skills thought "attributes" to be the stuff I wear like helmet and such. Thanks a lot, I never would have guessed that.
On a similar subject: is it any good, that amulet?

It's pretty good, especially if it's resists are good. Depends on what char you're using though. It lacks skills for example but stats and resists are never wrong.

I'm a rather single play sorceress, level 78 or 79....if I use this amulet I quit using my +1 to all skills & lovely extra bonuses like finding magic items and such amulet....
if u have enough mf u think, then u can use this. usually when it gives attributes, it means u need to put less points into str so u can wear all ur end game gear. ppl usaully go for maras as it has skills, resists, and a bit of attributes but u can't go wrong with ur ammy.

When you play SP though, you might not have end game gear, and the extra attributes only really contribute to your life and mana pools, and potentially an extra 1-2% chance to block, on a sorc at least. Not to mention, you don't really PvP in SP, not often anyway.

...so not much use then? And there are no others involved in my game, not PvP, no multiplay, nothing...

It would be an excellent amulet for an amazon, barbarian, melee paladin, shapeshifter druid, or other such non-skill dependent class.

Saracens is not that great for a sorc, I'd prefer the +1 amulet with magic find, since you are probably doing magic find runs. Decent find if you have any other characters that you can ATMA mule to or something.
