a three socketed armor and the runes jah ith and ber, then put them in this order into your armor. Which the best armor is for you depends on the build. Most probaly you want a light elite armor to make enigma in.

Adding to what Seralph just said, the armor must be plain, non-magical armor (white or gray lettering). Armor with blue, yellow, gold or orange lettering cannot be used to make runewords.

mageplate. 225-261 def 55str
Duskshroud. 361-467 def 77str
archon plate. 410-524 def 103str

all this armour are good because considering def and str requirement, they give the lowest str and highest defense..

How hard is it to get a 3os Archon Plate because I've been lookin all day and cant find one. Is it worth the wait or will any 3os armor do?

It could takes minutes,hours or weeks to find one.Trading can be faster.

Since the runeword enigma adds straight defence the base defence isn't that important. And with todays rune values there is no point in wating for a 15% ed 3 socketed AP IMO. My first eni was a light plate.

elite armors:
duskshroud
wyrmhide
scarab husk
archon plate

exceptional armors:
mage plate

normal armors:
breastplate
light plate
Both can be equipped with base strenght

normal and exceptional armors get 3 sockets at larzuk. I only listed the most common armors, basicly every light armor will do.

And as a side note, armor Cannot be 4 socket, so it needs to be exact 3. Otherwise you will only have JahIthBer socketed armor :P

Just take off most (if not all) of your MF gear and go on a killing spree in densely populated areas (i.e. cows, pits etc.) Rinse and repeat until you find what you like...
