socketing question

I know how to cube socket things, and I know that that Larzuk will put a socket in something....but what do ppl mean when they say that they can get 5 sockets by using the socket quest? doesnt larzuk only do one socket?

I have a white Breserker Axe that I want to socket. Is there a way to get 5 socks by using a "quest", or do I just hope for 5 with a random cube socket?

Larzuk will give the maximum amount of sockets for any item used. So your Berzerker Axe would get 6 sockets. Only way to get 5 sockets is to use the cube recipe.

Larzuk will add the max no. of sockets possible for the item.

Larzuk will give these number of sockets:
White/grey-max (which depends on the item type and ilvl)
Blue-1 or 2, with an equal chance of each
Rare/Set/Unique/Craft-1 socket

The people talking about adding 5 sockets were talking about socketing a white/grey item. There's no way for your berserker axe to receive 5 sockets with the Larzuk quest; you'll have to take your chances with the cube.
