Word up! I'd like to gather here some clues for teleing quickly, safely and efficiently. :wink2:
I offten find myself exploring the whole lvl 2 durance before finding the entrance to lvl 3 and such, but I know there are some general rules that leads to the target much faster. The areas that comes to mind here are:
- forgotten tower
- catacombs
- arcaines
- durance
- nithlak's halls
- world stone
Any help appreciated.
There is a tip 4 finding level 3 just let me find the guide and i will post it for u

You need:
Lots of fcr for quicker teleporting, so the monsters have little chances to hit you before the next teleport
Decent fhr, so if the monsters hit, you recover quickly enough to teleport away before they hit again
Bonuses to skills (to lightning or sorc skills for sorcs, to all skills for others) to reduce mana costs
Mana (to avoid refilling the mana bulb all the time) - don't invest into energy, but add +mana/energy equipment
Blocking if you have a 75% blocking build, so you can live with less fcr
Weapon/shield suggestions:
Sorc: usually no special equipment, most of them need fcr anyway - my sorc uses Tal's set+Spirit, for example
Paladin: Wizardspike+Spirit paladin shield
Others: Wizardspike + either Spirit monarch (FCR) or Whitstan's Guard with Eld (blocking)
There are other useful shields. I just mentioned the on with the best FCR and with the best blocking.

Nihlathak's halls are really simple to tele, once you get the hang of it you can go straight there 100% of the times.
From the wp to next level there are onl 3 maps, all with different wayppoint rooms: you'll learn quickly.
Downstairs you need to keep an eye out for that whitish wall painting, if it appears at a certain place on each niche this means that is the correct one.
If you after all pick wrong (which you won't when you learn to read the walls) you'll know he's opposite of the champions etc. There was some nice guide posted somewhere around here from which I learnt it.

Thx a lot guys! That's exactly what I was looking for and it defienitly speeded up my runs significantly! :grin:
Just to add from myself I'd reccomend using high block on teleing chars whenever possible, since it saved my life many times. The only thing I'v got problems with so far are those viper things in halls of vaught. My mfing char (blizzballer sorc with 63+ fcr 60 block and 25 fhr) basicly can't get to Nithlak when those mobs are down there. The only solution i use is save and exit just to avoid losing experince.
The vipers in the halls of vaught is bugged (they deal phys dmg per frame,) best way to avoid taking hits is to make sure you don't move while in poison cloud.
You can also load up on "damage reduced by X" if you have enough (+35) you won't take significant damage from those evil snakes:evil:

Sorc/barb + 105 fcr teleport = too fast... except the game lags or you click on a black area, room feature, chest etc. while teleporting.

Which needs some skills to avoid with 105 fcr:rolleyes: :scratch:
However I totally agree.
