MF does NOT work on chests.
MF does NOT work on chests.
MF most certainly *DOES* work on chests, so long as they are not special chests. Special chests include Sparkly Chests, as well as a few non-sparkly ones (like the non-sparkly Chest behind Meph) that have better-than-average drops.
On normal garden-variety chests, though, MF certainly does work. Same with on dead bodies, skeletons, beds, etc.
chest drops get the ilvl of the area lvl they are found in (im not sure what each areas lvl is tho)
locked chest usually do double drops, which occationally can be nothing, (2*0=0)

MF does not work on sparkling chests. I'm not sure if it works on armor/weapon racks, but I'm rather sure it works on normal chests, hollow trees, corpses, baskets etc.

MF does not work on sparkling chests.
When the 'desired quality' thing is at work, MF does not work.
But isnīt there a chance that these chests roll no desired quality (i.e. MF works normally, at least for the first two drop cycles)?
