Howdy: I recently made a lld kicksin and am VERY pleased with how well she does. Very much so. My build is geared towards massive amounts of Deadly strike and crushing blow. She whoops but.

Recently I have thought of a variation, however; instead of learning blade shield, use those points on the other side of the tree and get up to death sentry. It wouldn't be synergized at all really, no more than the pre-reqs. Is it worth remaking my sin, or would the damage output be insignificant enough so that blade shield will do as much/more?

So you have an LLD ? Thats just for PvM ?

If so then DS is not very useful. Unless you can find a way to get the other player near some bodies.

Could u be thinking of LS ?

I was under the impression that DS also shoots lightning that does more dmg than LS. No this LLD is strictly PvP.

If I am incorrect in my assumptions about DS/LS, then light is the one I'd go with. I know very little about traps.

LS does better damage then DS.

And LLD LSer's = unplayable vs anyone who has a single clue about the game.

With 100% perfect gear (I'm talking 2/3 Handscythes here), you'll reach just over 700 damage at level 30. Which = 116ish PvP Damage (MAX), and 29 MAX damage after resists.

So thats 1-29 damage, average of 14.5 Damage per LS. Thats approx 100 LS bolts need to hit a mediocre barb. Assuming he has NO + light res or MDR. If he has even a bit, then you're royally screwed.

WoF = better LLD PURE trapper AND better for a single point (such as you want).

The damage is pitiful with 1 point and no synergies, but you only want the WoF for the stun lock with MB.

OHHH...deadly strike doesn't work...hum. Hum hum indeed. O.o I assumed it would since Crushing blow does.

Okay, thanks everyone :) I'll have to redo gear accordingly. I've bee using a coldstee cutlass because of the 50% Deadly strike and 30% slow; I suppose I need a weapon with better mods than.

In this case DS means Death Sentry

and yes, lol, Death Sentry doesn't work with kicks... it works with monster corpses...

If Nay, I've come up with 2 weapons that might better offer mods to use...but only if Deadly strike does not work with kicks.

No, DS does NOT work with Kicks.

(or whatever it is) Flail. It has 20IAS/50% slow.

Then there's the Blood Crescent with 15LL, 15 all res, and (if I recall) 33 Open wounds and 15 IAS.

Well, I did all the good things, and I have to say WTF!!!!!?????

I can kick the living piss out of a lvl 30 sorc, wake of fire burning, shadow csting mind blast, and their life barely drips at all. Then I get massacred by some lvl30 SS druid (of all freakin things!). Not to mention hdins; can't hurt them at all practically, or smiters/zeales cause of holy shield. For being such a super awesome good build I'm severely dissapointed; I do better with my lvl31 necro Summoner for God's sake...:|
