my first char, i havent decided, i want a poll from you all, im not a newb, i used to play this game ALOT a long time ago...so heres my choices

Kicksin
Zealadin
Chantsorc w/Bearform (time isnt a problem for me on getting items)
Fury druid
Rabies druid

if you have the gear, zealadin with one or more sources of elemental damage is cool like frost zealot. but shouldn't you make an mf char first?

yea, i could, but we all gotta start at 0, so once i get enough to start an MF'er, ill make a sorc or something, he will mainly be a solo cow'er for a lil while, then get mf, make the mfer, and im off, unless ifind someone cool that will help me, but ide rather go my own

it won't be easy soloing hell effectively with the chars you mentioned if you don't plan to twink them. What i was saying was that you should build an mf char that can do runs efficiently like a meteorb or skelemancer with self-found gear. then use those chars to get wealth to build a char that you actually enjoy.

just one problem, i have MF'ing, i know i HAVE to do it, but i want a fun char to do it...pick something fun to MF with for me, besides sorc and necro or hammerdin =P its been too long since i played to know now

wow i couldn't agree more with your dilemma. yeah, mfing with a necro is pretty darn boring. still though, melee chars are not good at untwinked mfing. they have to put so much into survival. I would be a happy man if i could effectively mf with my MAsin instead of my meteorb lol

ok, so we agree i guess im stuck making a sorc as MF'er, what should be my first PvP'er? keep in mind, i LOVE poison and Multi attacks, so...

Kicksin, Rabies, Fury, Zeal, what would be my best first Pk'er?

i never said you were stuck with a sorc...but neways they are very good
as for pvp, pvp is very costly and you will have to do some serious mfing before you step into that.
i'm not much into high-lvl duelling, so you should look in the pvp forum. I hear that a type of kicksin called ghostsin or something like that are pretty good for their relative affordability though...
and then there is low level duelling, which is my love. a level 18 zealer pally can tear apart pubby games and amaze some noobs with less that ideal gear.

There is also the possiblity of making a pure lightning Javazon. They can definitely get through the game untwinkled and they work decently well for MFing in Nightmare/Normal. Not sure how they are PvP however...

I suggest that you make a trapsin. They are safe, easy to play and romp thru NM without difficulties.

You can kill most monsters off screen and out of sight so you stay safe.

Hell can be difficult for them as they have problems with the numerouse Light Immunes.

Meteorb/ pure blizz for running meph, then zealer for first proper char...
