i used to play this game a long time ago, about 7-8 years ago probably...theres something i need to know before i go rebuy it, i will rebuy it but not for a while, so i was wondering...

once you pick you skills, are you able to reset them?

nope, but on the realms you can get from lvl 1 to 80 in just a day with a bit experience or some helpfull friends. On SP there are ways, but not legit ones for general play.

Welcome to the forums :wink3:

No the only thing you can do is start a new char...

There are alot of guides in each character forum so its sometimes best 2 look there for a build that you might like before you start 1

well the thing is...i wanted to make my best character again

which was a bearform enchant sorc, but since i gotta restart...i have no MF, so i was hoping i could make a MF sorc to start out with and once i got some good stuff i can just switch over...but i guess not, because all i basically do is duel people...so i got 1 more question for you

besides sorceress whats a good type of MF'er?

fishymancer is one of the best and cheapest builds for an mf char...they can solo hell...you can find out about them in the necro section

I went and found the build 4 you

h'din is very good also if they can tele because they can kill any boss in the game.

Those are 2 that are a good place 2 start but if you have nothing i would go with a fishymancer

so im not a noob or anything, ive been around for a while, i know how to play, all the glitches, ive just quit for nearly a decade, but one thing i dont know that you all probably do is...

is it all still the same? drop rates of elite...unid items still expensive...runes still suck to drop? or have patches and game progression changed it all? kill the king cant make Cow level? ninja looters on boss runs?

i dont have any online friends no more so i gotta go join others (i still have all the experience in the world on D2 from 8 years ago, not now... =)

and one last thing...are characters still on a expirated timer? 30-60-90 days?

if you played 7-8 years (or close to a "decade") ago, then surely you cannot have made a bearsorc  beast hasn't been around that long ... let alone d2 (released in 2000)

Anyway on point, yeah, summoner necro is a good mfer to start with, but today socketables are in general probably a faster way to earn some hrs needed for that bearsorc. because of duping hrs are everywhere, and ppl need socketables for them like mad ...

yes all the drop rates are probably pretty much the same....if you do decide 2 start playing again you can find some very nice people in the channel

op diabloii.net

They have 1 on east not sure about the other realms though

my point was i havent played since the first version of "ladder" chars were started, i stopped right after they converged the first ladder players with normal...i dont keep track of that time :wink3:
