First off I have to admit I am terrible at formulating builds and don't have much experience when it comes to bulding a great character, mainly because I have only played the game for a year, and not even half that was on Battlenet..
Which is why I make so many threads asking about sin builds >>

anyways I have a lvl 10 assassin, who I plan to make into a kicker sin.
I plan to max out claw mastery, tiger strike, d-tail, venom, maybe 10 put into wep block and invest a few in cobra strike and 1 in cos, or mind blast.

Currently I have 2 in BOS[I meant to only invest 1 in BOS but you can blame the lag on b.net for that one.. >>] and I have 1 in tiger and 7 in claw mastery.


but do you think this plan would work?
Also I have read blade fury is good to invest in even if you plan on not becoming a trapper...
help out a noob. :undecided:

Also I am not sure what to do with my stat pts.. I haven't spent any so far except 4 into Strength so I could weild this katar.

So, TS/DTail build, right? I'd save Claw Mastery for last, depending if you want to use a C/C, C/S, or W/S setup. I recommend 'Lawbringer' PB and SS as endgame gear (however, you've still got a bit of time until then, so don't worry). Also, I don't think Claw Mastery will do that much for your damage, so personally I'd leave it at 1. Definately invest a few points in Mind Blast, it rocks! And Blade Fury is a 1pt wonder, use it to get rid of those pesky Oblivion Knights, so you don't kick yourself to death because of Iron Maiden.

Also wake of inferno?
I was looking at blade fury and one of the preqs. was wake of fire, which is the preq for inferno.
Even though I am not a trap sin, would this be good to max? If I do what you suggested and don't max out claw mast then I have leftover skill pts. some go into the prereqs. but still..

if ure going for tsrike/dtail sin, u want to max both asap, death sentry u should put up to level 10 at least for the corpse explosion, good for crowd control

Hmm... Well, I'd also put 1 point in DFlight, just for transportation purposes. Some times you relly want to get up close to a specific target, and when you use DFlight both you and your Mercenary (and Shadow) teleport to the specified target.
I usually aim for at least a 5 second stun duration on Mind Blast, but preferably 8 seconds. I doubt Wake of Fire will do much damage without maxed synergies and loads of +skills.
As said earlier, put a few points in Death Sentry in order to increase it's radius on the explosion (and maybe even a few points in Fire Blast to increase the number of times it fires?).

Have you tried using charge up and release skills ? I find that they are a pain in the ... . I prefer just using release skills such as Dragon Talon and Dragon Claw. A kicker who just uses Dragon Talon can be very effective as its one of the fastest attacks in the game and a great way to deliver crush blow.
