I'm restarting my summoner because his stats are so screwed up. I intend to give him an Enigma mage plate and I already have one or two nice superior base armors, but before doing that, I would like to know about the repair costs I have to expect.
This has probably been asked a few times already, but the search function doesn't work properly atm...
400-500K when its down to 6ish Duration.
Not that much , or just use an Ort.

Haha i use a breast plate nigma (non-sup) on my start up summoner necro when i returned to game Dec 06 cos i did not plan/count on anni+torch. Now that he has these i am also considering mage plate for the red pants look hehe. Repair cost are negligible for me because in the first place with a summon necro your minions, bone armor and with nigma you will actually suffer a hit like 5% of the time? I choose not to invest in block and went all vita ^^ The key is not to tele rashly  Dim Vision ranged attackers/souls mean more safety too

Ral runes repair armors.
Yep, just keep a bunch of Rals in your inventory for when the dur gets low.
That's what I've had to do with my Zealot's 7%ed, 12%dur Fortitude Boneweave. As of now, it costs 1.1mil+ to repair, at 8/51 durability. There's NO WAY IN HELL I'm going to save up all that gold just to fix a dang metal shirt.
Just wait till it gets down to 1 durability, then cube it back to goodness.

Hmm no, 500k is too expensive and I'm not willing to spend Ral runes for that. Also, when browsing my mules, I noticed that I don't have a sup Mageplate anyway and I'm too stingy to pay more for 5-15 %def on a 250 base def armor :azn:
Thanks anyway.
Remember that summoners don't get hit a lot, so you might want to overlook the repair costs IF you find a 15/15 or a 15/0 MP.
With HRs being as cheap as they are (Pgems ffs) you can reroll to get a perfect one and have crazy resale value.
However, a 15/0 or 15/15 MP has great value on its own, so you might want to sell it for dozens of HRs.
I agree with helvete. Summon necro doesn't get hit very often and you can always use 1 ral (you can buy it with game gold cheaper than repair cost easily or for usually 1-3 pgs). Also superior enigma (especially 15% ed) has much higher re-sale value, so I'd suggest you to think again (althought I made enigma in 12% ed BP:grin: , since it's for own use, and it's not bad to have enigma when needed. Prolly never going to sell it anyway..:azn: )
HR's are so cheap I would not think twice to make it in a nonsup armor. MP especially has good value no matter what. Imo if you make the armor for profit, you can usually sell the socketable for the same profit and let someone else put all that effort in it :)

well, generally with my summoner, I pick items with potential interest (magic/rare) and after ID in town I charsi if their mods are bad..my summoner has constantly 2.5 M gold which I replenish easily to cover repair costs....without doing the Gold find thing.

Meaby, but you could use that money for gambling ;)
Seriously, how do you plan on losing durability on a summonmancer? Really, think about it. I hope this thread was some kind of joke, unless you are acting a tank for your army.... I bet you will have to repair his armor Maximum one time during his lifetime.... geez, repairing a summoner armor *grumble* :wink3:

As I noticed that I don't have a sup mage plate, I decided to buy a decent non-sup one. Of course, necros don't get hit often, but who knows, perhaps I will pass that armor to a different character. In addition, if a necro doesn't get hit often, he doesn't need an armor with good %ed :azn:
In this case I don't really care too much about its resale value. HRs are so cheap atm that I won't lose much in case the armor turns out to be worth less than the parts in separate.
BTW, I bought a 256 def mage plate for Ist and Guillaume's helm and got +766 def on the Enigma roll.
I think thats still good armor (like enigma always is)

wow how can u not spend a ral on repairs with stuff like that, i mean its not like u get rals from a basic/easy quest or anything... o wait you do... and if ur able to kill the countess on any difficulty there more easy rals......

Ral are popular crafting runes, I'm not using them to fix armors :wink3: I already said, I'm stingy :azn:
Countess runs are a little painful to do atm because it's so hard to create games. Each time I get one, I stay in for a longer time instead of e.g. just doing a keyset run, so I normally visit Travincal, CS, WSK and Pits with my bowazon.
