View Full Version : About Failed to Join
Just a quick question... is there anyway in Regedit or other settings that allows me to lower the Failed to Join timeout? Its real annoying having fast internet, then having to wait 30seconds-1minute each time I fail to join.
Id like to make it so that if it fails to join within the first 3-5 seconds then it stops completely and doesnt keep on trying.
Any ideas/help?
Thanks~
I've always wanted this. Its sad but I can usually just alt+f4 out and restart d2 faster then it would take to just wait for it to time me out =/

Link edited out. That link seems to be against the rules - Hrus
Click download file on the right side there. It reduces failed to join for 5 seconds, put in diablo2/plugins folder as said in instructions.
I'd be weary about that link. That wiki site seems to be having trouble, and there should be no such folder as "plugins" in your diablo II folder unless your running a loader or other 3rd party proggy.

Well I don't know if it's a hack or not. All I know is this reduced my delay to failed to join message to 5 seconds.
Works perfectly normally for me.
