hi people. i have always looked at diablo ii.net for advice on builds like i.e smiters 1 pt or 20 points ?? max dmg on smite = 30k max dmg with 1 pt =
27k .... max dmg with ww is 27k if u max ww but if u put 1 pt u loose like 400 dmg .. so should i put 1 point in whirlwind and u the other points for my bos ?? (warcries)
What the hell are you talking about?
Firstly, all of those numbers are too exaggerated. Secondly, if you put 1 pt into WW instead of 20, it WILL have a gigantic effect. All skills do NOT work the same way.

exaggerated meaning that your numbers are wrong. 27k, 30k, etc.
Absolute maximum damage on Smite - with reckless Glass Cannon gear - is around 15k.
WW damage bonuses are completely different from Smite as well, the two skills are incomparable in terms of damage output. But you will definitely want to max WW, otherwise your damage won't be anywhere near where it could be with it maxed.

Don't bother, we have explained him this on the paladin forum, to no avail, he claims he can get 30k with a heaven's light.
With heaven's light? :O
I'd like to see other gear then :D

if you're really only losing 400 damage by not putting in 19 more points, and still getting a 26600 damage ww at level 1, i'm pretty sure you should just boost defense and etc.
bull****.
He's getting 30k with heaven's light on open probably, with crazy weird charms =3

He probebly is doing 3k and cant read....
30k = 30,000
3k - 3,000
and he probebly is to dumb to know that grief damage does not show up in stats section...
yepp i do. heaven's light is better than grief lolz. but 1 pt in whirlwind or 20 pts ??
Wanna give me more info about your gear/charms which gives you 30k with heavens?
Also, I recommend you to put 20 points in WW for more damage. Where do you actually need that defence anyway, since most of bvb damage is from OW anyway..

What charms guys? We are talking about smite, even 9 pala combats, torch and anni together with mara's,shako,2xbk,arach and ofcourse fortitude and perfect ed% sacred rondache phoenix (465% ed) can't produce 5k smite damage with heaven's.

even with an inventory full of 290s, that's only 11600. it's prolly just crap altogether.
Another troll! This is almost as bad as the 41k firebolt damage thread over in the sorc forum.
I think this guy has very high entertaining quality.
@ kingdryland:As for the "weird" chars in open. Hacks are extremely common in open, as it's alot easier to hack in sp than on the realms (and you are in fact playing with sp chars in open). You can even get programs so you can create you own items in sp, hence I can think of ways to get that kind of bull-bip- damage in open. (+7 skill chamrs comes to mind )
Aslo, with character editors, you can set the slvl to s fix number, a long time ago on my big rock comp, I hade a sorc with all skilsl a slvl 99....
well, 'nuf rambling. He's a special guy that mpbu mpsu
