if i re roll a bugged eth exile, will it stay bugged?

Yes, the base defense won't change. The ED% the runeword gives could change, however.

Yes, rerolling just deletes all the runes/jewels/gems taht were in the item, and in the end you end up with the original base item. So whatever you started out with, thats what you get when u hel+tp a runeword. The base item never changes.

Quite the vortex you have over there. The difference between lvl 15 defiance and lvl 16 is merely 10% . Assuming that your paladin has ~4000 base defense, that is some 400 in total that you are lacking,which holy shield doesn't multiply...If you roll a lvl 16 aura but get lower enhanced defense (say a total 1700 on shield), that 53 that you'll miss is multiplied by both defiance AND holy shield... Your goal is to have the best total defense possilbe ,not just to get a lvl 16 defiance but lower total defense than you will have with the current roll because you got low ed%.
