I started a game on diablo 2 a couple months ago and i stopped playing for a while. Then i uninstalled diablo 2 to make room for other stuff, but my saved games were still in the diablo 2 folder. So a couple days ago i reinstalled diablo 2 and then i put the saved games in the "save" folder in the diablo 2 directory. I started the game and i couldnt find my character on there. So then I installed LOD and tried it again....still no luck. I really want to start my game where i left off. How do i get my saved games on there? Can someone plz help?

C:\Program Files\Diablo II\save\

Make sure that you have copied and backed up all the files in that "save" folder (minus any further sub folders) and paste them into the directory once you have re-installed the game. If anything, you shouldn't have had to do that at all. The files probably got wiped out.
