this goes out to those players who find the items in order to make their sins gg. i think outfitting a sin with good gear (+3 venom runics,good fools claw, circlet, etc.)is one of the hardest things to do it d2lod. i don't know how you guys do it, but much love to you, you must have zen like patience because ive been trying forever to get these items with no luck. ive spammed every site, hit hundreds of T-R-A-D-E-Z games in game, with no luck.... maybe i just dont know the right people or dont mf the right spots, but gg to those who do. :undecided:

Well, I'm pretty happy with my sin even with her average gear.... My inventory is pretty poor... like 12/15/18/27/27/29/32/39 Shadows and a Trap 12FHR. I'm trying to upgrade, though.

To me the hardest thing to find atm is 2soc CoA and Shadow Dancers :/
I had Kicksin,Light Trapper and WW Bramblesin now building a WWsin with some knowledge gained from the sticky guide(sry dont rember writers name :P) and my own experience.

For me the two toughest things to find for my build are a +2 sin/fools mod/+3 lightning sentry claw and a +2 sin/20%fcr/visionary helm.
right now, its impossible to find some good venom runics. i haven't even attempted to find a good fools claw or a circlet with visionary :( donations are happily accepted!!! :shocked:

I have the most trouble getting assassin circlets and fools claws, everything else is pretty easy to find.

I have never bothered to look for claws. Bought some +3 assy claws from anya and am happy with them.
Shadow Dancers are a pain to get, but not ovely important for me either.

Hmm... Yes, the perfect claws are elusive... but when they come along, wow.
I recently traded a 19/17/6 anni and a 19/17 Barb torch for a single white claw. I was pretty happy about it however.
+3 Light Sentry, +1 Dragon Flight Greater Talons....
However, I am still waiting for that elusive +2 Sin, +3 Light Sentry, Fool's, 2socketed Greater Talon with 40ias, Eth/Repair and +light resistance ;P
Man that would be a beautiful claw, in fact, the most beautiful claw my mind can think of...

I'm sticking with my Fury, no Fools claw for me.
where do you guys get your claws from? gamble? mf? trade? cant seem to trade for any though :undecided:
If you have lots of patience, gambling with Anya is a way to find these claws I have been told. (o yes and also lots of money...)
hey dziii what realm are you on. i might be able to help u out with some gear since i do have some decent extras. i know how hard it can be to find gg gear. smith and happyassasin have seen me going into games for the past 2-3weeks trying to find a 3venom greater talon and hi shadowlifer.
if you want to start looking for fools claws i would suggest building a goldfind pally and either shopping or gambling a claw from anya.
im on west ladder btw. yeah, i just started gambling with the gold i have just on my reg chars. ive noticed so far that its really a hit and miss situation. i was wondering, when u gamble from anya, does the claw have to say "runic talon" for it to be a runic talon or can it say "claw" or something else and still get a runic talon?
Not too long ago I bought a fools blade talon of quickness off of Anya and Larzuk gave it 2oc. It works great ;) Also, if you can find an amy with lvl 5 innersight charges (-140% def) it helps with ar...A LOT. Cloak works off base def but I'm pretty sure innersight works off of total def. I've also seen a crafted amy with visionary!!! If I'm not mistaken, it also had 10 IAS, 10 FCR, and some deadly strike ta boot. You do have a few more options other than a 2/20/2 with visionary which is near impossible to get...not many but a few:wink3: For everyone other than a high def char I either use a Jade Talon for res or an eth Bartucs. That, with a fury claw on standby if needed, is working pretty darn good!
WOW I love my Assassin now. Found a soj at trav, 121 AR 4 MD, and 108AR gc.

afaik: you cannot get deadly strike on an ammy unless it's a Highlords and IAS only comes on Cats-Eye and Highlords.

when you visit anya select blade talons to buy. they may come up as greater or runic talons and if they are rares you can always upgrade. i would suggest sticking with greater talons as they require much less in the way of stats and have similar damage to runics.

I like imbueing claws... trouble is that your high level characters run out of imbue quests damn fast.
There is a simple reason for this. Rares are rolled slightly differently when imbued as opposed to when dropped by monsters. There is a whole lot of stuff about adding numbers to random rolls, but it comes like this:
When a item which can gain staff-mods is imbued, there is a higher chance of them getting 3 skills, and a higher chance of those skills being higher teirs. Which means more Venom and Dragon flight for me! (and at the moment, it also seems to mean more Pheonix Strike... doh!)

bottom line: if you Imbue an item that can get Staffmods (as opposed to Automods) at Level 89 or higher, you are GUARANTEED three staffmods. their level (eg: +1, +2 or +3) is determined randomly, as is what mods they are.

no. not afaik. what mods they are is still randomly determined and still limited by the 4-tier max rule (eg: you cannot have Tier One skills and Tier Five skills as staffmods on the same item.
for the record: i have lvl90+ imbued over 50 Greater Talons this season.
i STILL don't have a 2os fools GT of KB/40ias :sad2:

Like Galen, the hardest pieces for me still is the 2/20/2 visionary circlet and the +2 Sin + 3 Lightning Sentry Fools Claw. Currently I'm rocking a +3 LS +1 DF + 1 Blade Fury Fools 2x UM'd. So, it's not too bad as a place holder. Also, Galen.. Let's do up some duels soon ;)

Sounds good to me, I tend to be on a fair bit doing uber lvling but I still duel with my sin all the time. I'm just in the process of upgrading her lifers right now, but it's so tough finding legit ones.
mephiztophelez, if you're on west ladder I have a 2 os fool's claw [-20 speed] of quickness for trade :P
My chaos and fury are 2venom/2mb/1df and 2venom/2df :D
