Is it possible on a rare circlet to have +2 sorceress skill levels as well as +2 lightning skill levels.

Also, how many staffmods are possible on an orb, isn't it 3 that can have up to +3 to a certain skill? Staffmods can be on an orb at the same time as life and mana. For example, could there be a magic orb that has +3 lightning skills, 20 fcr, +60 to life, +80 to mana, +3 nova, +3 lightning, +3 lightning mastery?

no. a magic item can get the +3tree affix, OR +2skills, rares can get a max of +2skills or +2tree. you cannot have BOTH. the only way to get >+3 is with a staffmod, which isn't available on a circlet.

yes. up to three, each up to +3 staffmods can spawn on an orb (or 'sin claws, or neccy heads or druid pelts or barb hats or pally sceptres). there are some other rules, like they all have to be within four tiers of each other on the skill tree (so no Lvl 30 skills and lvl1 or 6 skills can spawn together)

ok, you're confusing staffmods with automods. i suggest a read of GTA's guide to all that is items (http://www.battle.net/forums/thread.aspx?fn=d2-gameplay&t=152349&p=1&#post152349)

such a beast could theoretically exist, but i think it's either Life OR Mana, not both. THIS (http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/5168/5blizzorbix5.jpg) is about the best i've come up with, it just lacks fcr (dammit), with two socky it would pack a fair punch. THIS (http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/7702/4blizzfcrrareit5.jpg) one is almost there, until you sit it next to a Fathom. btw: both those are mine.
if your on east, you may not have heard of a rather disgusting, duped unto oblivion, rare (08 i believe) level 30 pally sceptre known as Viper Bludgeon (http://www.exxten.com/catalog/Viper%20Bludgeon%202pal%203BH%203Con%2020fcr.JPG) that currently exists on West Ladder.
