Faith or Ice??

First post... Oh well here goes....

I play a bowzon that focuses primarily in frozen arrow (extremely close to being fully synergized) and I also dabble a bit in strafe and guided arrow. Well my question is this, I have the runes to make either a faith or an ice runeword bow. Which should I make, for what reasons, and which bow should I use as a base for the runeword. I have to admit that both of them sound extremely tasty :smiley: but I will have to make up my mind and choose only one... any input on my build, critisism or otherwise, is much appreciated!

Not sure on the bow, but I'd definitely go with an Ice runeword if you're making a Frostmaiden.

For Frostmaiden, Ice > Faith. If you want the Fanaticism aura that much, stick a Faith on an Act 1 merc while you wield the Ice.

Ice in a Matriarchal Bow with +3 bow skills. That's as sweet as it gets for a frostmaiden.

If you're heavy hybridizing with physical dmg strafer then a Faith Grand Matorn bow is sweet, but go make yourself a frostmaiden now, if you absolutely want one you can either get a merc Faith as mentioned, or maybe go for a strafer switch :rolleyes: (should not be necessary, really)

By Fully syngerize FA you mean you put points into ice arrow too? It's not worth.

No, just Cold Arrow for the damage synergy. You are right about the cold duration synergy, it's not worth more than 1 point.

Cold damage small charms (+1 second per charm), Raven Frost (+4 seconds), and any cold damage on other gear work better for increasing the freeze duration of Freezing Arrow.

Plus their damage adds twice to Freezing Arrow. Once to the arrow, and then again to the splash damage. All the more reason to get Hibernal Small Charms of Vita. 10-20 cold damage, 20 life. Much better than 3/20/20's on a Frostmaiden.

Hibernal-prefix sc's can only be found from Hell Baal/Diablo/Nihlathak, like the 41-45 vita grand charms. Good luck on finding them! Start burning those pgems...

by "fully synergized" I meant that I had 20 point frozen arrow and 18 points in cold arrow. I didnt bother with ice arrow because I am well aware of how useless a couple extra second frozen is considering the reduction to it in hell and nightmare.... Oh well thanks for all your help!
