Cow running question

I like to run cows for the socketables and charms. Right now i have around 300-400 mf, but rares uniques only pop up about 1 or twice a run. Would it be smarter to ditch the mf gear in place of damage so i could finish the runs faster?

Yes! Your current MF is turning some of what would have been white items into blue items and better. MF doesn't help with charms or runes, and it can mean less white and grey items, so switching to pure killing speed gear should improve things noticably.
