View Full Version : Knockback 'stun' time

Hey,

I have recently found out that for example mindblast causes knockback, and not a usual fhr animation (like those which appear when you lose more than 1/12 of your hp or when you get hit while having swirlies on you).
And further I was told that the 'knockback stun' time could not be reduced by stacking fhr.

This was pretty new to me and it also means much for pvp because smite, mindblast and leap are all knockback attacks afaik.

Now ... how long _is_ the 'knockback stun' time then? How many frames are needed to recover from a knockback attack?

Thanks.

What I've heard the 'stun' from leap is supposed to be 2x Normal Hit recovery.
But don't take my word for it, it's only second hand information.

I've never before heard that Knockback used anything other than the standard FHR animation. If you'll permit me to speculate out loud, perhaps the reason knockback takes more frames than standard hit recovery is that it has two parts- the knockback (which'll take a handful of frames), and the hit recovery afterwards (which'll take a couple more frames).

hmm okay thanks for input, I'll ask around some more on other forums as well and keep you up to date if I find anything relyable.
