Amazon Merc Question.

I had a talk with a friend of mine and was wondering something. I am gonna be using a might mercenary from act 2 and I was thinking of a few choices for the weapon for him.

For example, I kill the enemies in a Chaos run easily enough to never lose health or mana throughout. It becomes very hard to kill Diablo, though. A mercenary choice was a might mercenary with a Doom weapon to slow him down. Is there any better weapon choices for just bosses? (Remember I kill basic enemies very fast and easily). What helm btw? The weapon and armor (COH) has 8% life leech. I am thinking of Vampire Gaze, is 8% enough to keep a mercenary alive?

Pride works wonders with its concentration. The merc might not kill faster but you will. Reapers toll is pretty good and it has leech on it iirc.

Which out of these three weapons for an act 2 merc would be the best. I will be doing a lot of runs by myself, i will mostley be doing cow runs, chaos runs, pit runs, meph runs and baal runs, so which weapon would best benefit my PVM bowazon?
Also i am trying to decide which bow would be better for me to use, since i am goin to use a might merc from act2, my choices in bows are WF (which i already have or a Faith GM)

I don't believe your merc can leech Hell Diablo. You need Life Tap or it just won't work.

Gladiator's Bane

Um the pieces, depending on level of the merc. Otherwise IAS jewels depending on BP (not familiar with Merc swing speeds). Bring a pair of Dracul's with you to help proc the Life Tap for him, otherwise, he'll get murdered. He's got HIGH Crushing Blow with this set up, CBF (which is vitally important), CTC Fade, and a decent amount of MDR to help survive.

Pride with your a2 might merc. Duress armor seems to work a little better for boss killing. 10% life leech has been worked noticably better over time regardless of the area played. This especially becomes important if you don't have some type of curse going off from atma's neck, gloves like soul drainer or drac's grasp. For boss killing put on a pair of gore rider boots, they help.

Last Wish has CtC lifetap so i imagine the merc can survive long enough to cast that, especially if you're using a good valk to help tank.

I am planning on using an Act2 Might merc, so it ups my damage, so all i need to figure out is what wep to use on him... I have a gaze for helm and a perfect COH for him. My Choices on Weapons are Doom, Reapers Toll, and Pride... I just want my merc to stay alive but also have my mercs aura benefit my PVM Bowazon... Also i need to know which bow i should use for my Zon, I am currently using a Wf but i was wondering if i should use a Faith GM instead.

bosses are tough for bowzons. i'd use reapers it's fast and decrep will speed your kill time up while slowing him down.

use faith GM uless you're going with low ias then use a Mat faith. or if you go an entirely different merc rout use faith on act one merc with you using wf.

you need lifetap if you want your merc to survive against diablo, decrepify just doesn't cut it unless you wanna feed him a bunch of potions every time

and forget valk, shes usless against diablo because he simply ignores her 99% of the time

some of the above suggestions are good but generally just get a merc with a lot of crushing blow and damage to help leech

Ive Narrowed it down between Doom (slows enemies down, and does a lot of damage) and Reapers Toll ( has lots of life leech and Decrepify) out of those two merc weps, I am not sure which one will be the best for my build. My Merc will be using Perfect COH Vamp Gaze and one of those two merc weps.

Also I need to know which bow should i use, WF (with a 40-15) for lots of damage and knock back or Faith GM for to shoot faster... what is the damage per second for both of those bows as well?
