hi,
im just wondering, can a well - built light javazon be a good pvper?
i mean, with faceted griffon, and other light facets?

Good manner dueling, most definitely. Against absorbing chars, you're screwed.
Java's can kill low res chars ridiculously quickly.

I duel my friends lvl 97 java and i always see it as this: Either i get hit and die instantly, or i dont get hit and beat them.
You need to get skilled with teleport for pvp javas. Amazon's have such a slow casting animation it can be problematic

Or you can get rid of enigma and use a lot of frw gear for desynch.

From everything ive heard and seen, nigma javs are ez.
Best build is a max block, heavy passive. Usin that chances are you wont get hit long enough to nail em. Still can be a prob verse anyone with Good res and even a lil bit of sorb.
Since zons can't tele well you would have a hard time against most other classes that can stay away from you and still hit you. In good manner duels usually the maximum resist is 80% and 0% for ligthing absorb (I think!) but in a good manner duel you'll only be able to melee due to no far cast.
In a bad manner duel you can use far cast (though I don't approve of it, not even the legit way how that's done I don't know) but then the opponent can just combine resist and absorb.
A typical CS-zon can 1 hit kill many 80% resist chars.
It goes something like this:
0% resist 0% absorb
your damage / 6
80% resist 0% absorb
your damage / 30
80% resist 40% absorb
your damage your damage / 150
95% resist 0% absorb
your damage / 180
95% resist 40% absorb
your damage / 600
If you can get a fair amount of fcr, I run 70 I think, you’ll hit the 68bp which isn’t quick by any means, but fast enough to tele next to unsuspecting opponents. Soon as I land, CS for the kill. Typically chars remember to go throw on their tgods and wisp after that. It’s fun if you play vs. non-sorbers tho. And no one has talked about how lethal lightning bolt is. My LB does almost 9k iirc, and it stings the pxss outta just about everything when using griffs, tstrokes and 3facet shield. I move around a lot and eventually get nl on a caster and let’em spam. Except for ES sorcies, it does wonders. Although, any sorc with some decent skills will eat my lunch unless I get lucky.
My javazon is able to clean up the average pub pk game on west ladder. This is probably more of a statement on the quality of pub duelers than anything else though.
Follow tinncann25's guide and you won't go too far wrong. I like the coh set up with lots of frw (ie titan not t-stroke).

Thx for stickin up to my guide, but i have dueled a lot of 4v4 with pretty wealthy forumers here as well as some clans. The build i describe in my guide is a good match up against most builds pub or ...not pub. In the end it comes down to experience with the build.

Well its a good guide, so I'm only too happy to recommend it!
Javazon is no different to any other build, in that once you've got the gear and leveling done, you have to practice with it. 90% of the time its pretty easy. Spam fury if they've got minions, spam bolt if they don't. If they ever get too close, punish with cs. Keep on the move. Stationary players = dead players.
This is my favorite character, for just having some quick fun duels because its easy to get to a reasonable standard of play. That and killing two teaming smiters at once with cs is just too funny.
