How would this melee sorc work out?

A friend of mine recently quit D2 leaving me with a huge amount of items to sift through. So here is what I was thinking(constructive criticism welcome).

Stats:
Str: Enough for endgame gear w/ anni and torch
Dex: Enough for my wep(see gear)
Vit: ~75-100
Energy: Rest

Some 20 ias gloves?(anyone know ias bps in bear form?)

Looks good, might considder passion for zeal instead of beast, but I don't know how good she'd be when shifted. Maxing lightning mastery is a must for dual dream enchantresses, will increase damage a lot.

Too free some skill points you can use deamon limb or obidience for casting enchant and leave it at 1 point.

Ok, I forgot about light mastery and dream, been to long since I played :tongue:
Yeah I'm not sure if the dmg/life would be better in bear form or if it would be better to just use a passion PB? I just though that the IAS from the beast + the fana would give me a nice fast attack. Anyone know if I would be faster with Beast or with a Passion?

EDIT: OK I have decided to use the passion PB just since my friend also had one of those lying around and I can reach a decent zeal fpa with my current setup(with the 20ias gloves).

Make sure you get an infinity merc. It is kinda vital for the build.

1 point in es is enough. Max light mastery as mentioned already.

Make sure you get around 1.5klife after bo minimum so manaburn isn't an instant killer. Try to get a load of mana/life charms and find a balance between lightskillers and these.

Consider keeping beast in your stash combined with a 95%ias pb or a 4xshael griscaddy.

For the rest it's looking solid.

Anyone ever think about using Frost Nova to slow down the monsters in close range?

Cold Duration: 37 Seconds
Cold Damage: 530 - 612 (ø571)
Cold Radius: 9 Yards

(with max synergies)
Is that a reasonable cold timer?

If you want to slow monsers down nothing works better then glacial spike.

Thanks for that :grin: I didn't even think about it. Now I know that I will have a faster zeal with my passion than with my beast in bear from.
