View Full Version : Hailing any hybrid javazon(s)

I've noticed a trend with all the characters I've been building as of late; they're all some form of poison-skill hybrid (fury/rabies wolf, ww/trap assassin, well it's really just been those two, but Karp's revival of the flaming rabies druid in the druid forum may very well be next). The last one has been no excpetion, she's a plague/poison jav/whateverelse zon hopefully for pvp, only I was wondering if anyone has any advice on what would be the most fruitful skill set to invest in to accompany this.

At the moment both poison and plague javelin are maxed, with one point in charged strike, lightning fury, one in d/e/a plus all the prereqs. What I was wondering is would maxing fury and the rest in cs per Wuben's guide give a strong enough finisher (via fury that is)?
-or-
would maybe a hard point in guided arrow (I've got a 5os 15ed sup gmb for cta at some point) more along the lines of Liquid's sidewinder build be decent enough for that?

Also if using ga for a finisher, would putting more points in cs provide an ok close range skill?
I'll be running a bunch of fr/w from gear (30 from titan's, 30 on the cat's eye, 30 from boots, 40 from 'enigma'), should many more than one base point in d/e/a be terribly useful?
Lastly, will it be possible to desync with that much fr/w (130 in all) or might a few charms be worth looking for?

Thanks a bunch for reading or any advice.

IIRC, you start desynching with 120 faster run/walk, same speed as a paladin charging without vigor. I'm not really a zon player, but the 1 point in guided arrow would probably be usefull to get people who are running away. My zon has 50D/xxA/50E with items.. In PvP I think you should have about that, else you get caught into dodge locks. As for fury, it's a better finisher then Guided Arrow, but you need to be much closer so it won't really help vs runners.
