ok so was just rolling eth armors etc. and i was thinking to myself what the highest armor was. highest armor non-sup perf stats is a sacred armor with 600 def.

so if we put the eth mod in and ad 50%. that makes it 900def. then if we add the eth armor glitch it rolls 1800 def.

ok so say on top of this i got the 4os and i roll a fortitude. according to my calculations it should be 5.4 def fort... IS THIS REALLY POSSIBLE?!?!

i think im doing the math right but if someone out there has a 5.4 def fort... *sigh*

600 + 50% = 900 * 200% = 1800 + 200% = 5400

for an eth armor with base 600def, it should be 600 * 1.5(base eth) * 1.5(socket glitch) * 3(fort def bonus) + 15(fort mod) = 4065

WHen you bug an eth armor
600 def x 1.5 (eth) x 1.5 (bug) = 600 x 2.25 = 1350 ....not 1800
so do not assume you re doing your math right. :afro:

Darn, this thread brought back a tear in my eye.
Have just came back to D2 again and all my accounts where expired again for the xx time, one of them had this baby, a near perfect 4 sock eth bug:

zeskelnec got it right with the numbers. This one had 593 base def before bug.

I want my armor back... :P
