Yes, this game is all about finding a use for an item that no one ever ever uses. It can be one of the most *** backwards items in the game, as long as the next person tries to find a use for it.

It's a nice Merc armor; it's strength bonus will help him wear a Collosus Voulge and the resistances will juuuuust max them out.

Chains of Honor's probably a better an cheaper choice, but it wouldn't be if their was no duping. No, I'm not advocating duping here.

Compared to Tyrael's might, ber runes are in abundance. Even without duping Chains of Honor is still a cheaper/more common option.

Good merc armor for Destruction Key running as Nith won't nuke you from kills your merc accidently makes.

I use it at my merc at SP and it's very usefull. Not only the strength and resistances are usefull, but also the CBF and the FRW make my merc a better meatshield to protect me and kill immunities

Wraith Flight has a very nice base physical damage for being a javelin. Javelins travels further than throwing knives and thus this weapon could be of nice use to a throwbarb.

what is not to like about Tyrael's Might. It has good defence for no strength what so ever, a whole bunch of other great mods, res, cannot be frozen, monsters rest in peace, frw, ed to demons...

If I'd only have one...

P.S. I have no idea what to do with that crossbow. It just looks nice.

That crossbow actually wasn't so bad for a Magezon I suppose. With the LR CTC thats probably nice, especially with pierce >.> but yeah, pretty strange.

Now, the tag (Amazon only) and it being a spear leaves but one candidate for it... The attacks speed might not be that good but it's got some nice defensive mods. A tanking jabber maybe?

The frw on tyrael's is there to compensate the frw penalty of it being a medium armor (sacred). Other than that it has nice auxilliary mods ,no need for ravenfrost or nature's piece,an open socket etc. Very nice pvm armor,just overpriced because it is ridiculously rare. I could see that item getting really pumped in the next patch.

Stoneraven Mat Spear : Looking at it, i would definitely make an iron golem out of it with my summon necro if it spawned ethereal :P It would do ok damage and be prismatic (which will stack with my summon resist!) Rustys that do magic damage also seem cool to me hehe

Tyrael's Might: Some crazy high defense build like palabear, bearbarb, ironskin concentrate barb, etc

Actually, Demonhorn's Edge makes a nice substitute for Arreat's if you want/need the extra +1 to warcries and masteries.

Actually, with +2 druid skills, it would be a pretty decent substitute to Shako. I mean, it has cold sorb, fhr, fr. What's so different from shako? No +life/lvl and mana/lvl bonuses, but those are useless anyways, not multiplied by anything and then the +2 stats.

I love this axe. Always use it on switch for my trapper. Not that many teleport charges but decrepify have saved my uncountable amount of merc rescurection gold(all bosses, lister, etc). Gold isnt worth much but I gamble a lot, saves me time.

Hellrack: Not good really, but 150 charges of Immolation arrow can be good for a laugh in a boring baalrun (see the confusion spread as suddenly immolation arrows start flying, and there's no amazons around!) - heck a fire sorc might maybe even reach decent dmg from mastery :rolleyes:

Snakecord: 50%PLR +25% psn resists? just about time for Andariel...

About Pompei's Wrath - except the interesting name. i would say that the use of this weapon is very limited. If you have eth one, probably Furysin could benefit from it (good slow and knockback).

BStar is faster, Azurewrath is a better choice even. Heck, even a Lightsabre would work out better. Hellrack is still slow -- even on a Druid.

Steelshade is actually not that bad, mainly because of the +fire absorb. That will cause fire to actually heal you (Whereas, % absorb will never heal you) if you have enough resistance/whatever. The mana leech doesn't seem to bad either. However the replenish life seems odd, as does the 109 str req.

Is it me, or is there an awful lot of uniques/items/runewords/etc... that have poison resistance or similar? Poison resistance mods also seem to be very common over the other res's =/

I used this little beauty on a Daggerzon once, got to Act 2 Hell with it, using only normal Attack too. The Lightning resist made short work of Act 4 NM, with all the Gloams in the Plains of Despair. I got bored at Act 2 Hell and deleted her, killing was soooo slow, and I wasn't dying either because I was such a tank.

Well i'd pick a simple dwaftstar ring which has 15 *percent* fire absorb, 40life *and* 100% gold find over a steelshade armet if u ask me :badteeth: Helm slot could be so much more better!
