i found some ok socketing items and i socketed them

5os colossus blade
3os eth thresher (sad yea i kno)

anyway. i was goign to put the folloowing runewords into each

5os colossus blade = grief
3os eth tresher = malice

the malice is easy. grief is a little bit higher in price. i was wnodering if i made it woudl there be any barbs out there willing to use it? or would it beome a useless item?

Please dont make a grief in a slow 2 handed weapon. U want speed and the ability to use a shield, so stick with phase blades or zerker axes.

If u really want to make a grief in a 2-h sword then make it in either a flamberge or zweihander. Both have base weapon speeds -10/range 3 and the worst roll of grief still makes both swords hit LWWP :P Only a 40ias roll grief colo blade (base weapon speed = 5) would hit LWWP for barbs and it's a really high risk move :( Hmm maybe a Crescent Moon merc pole for that 3os eth thresher is another option? Cheers and happy gaming

Crescent is so much more powerful than Malice.
I rolled only one malice since RW have existed.

Yup, you'd need an IAS roll of 39 or 40 on a Grief CB for it to be of any use on a WW barb. Even then, a Berserker Axe beats it on damage (24-71 base for the zerker, 25-65 on the CB).

And lets not forget those unholy requirements, 189 str and 110 dex...

...ugly.
