weird story, which need answering

Hi all,

ok, story:

I have 3 mule accounts and 1 play account. I've been creating the chars from the beginning of this ladder season.

1 of them (a necro boner) was fine tuned over 7 months ago.
Wearing enigma, nice circlet, amulet, darkforce spawn, white wand with 3 to bone spear and 3 to revive etc.
And very nice charms:
6x P&B skillers with 12% FHR and 7% FRW, 5% allres/5% FHR SCs and 11% poison resist / 5% FHR SCs so I reached the breakpoint of 56% FHR (7 frames per sec) and 75% allres in hell.

Now the strange part ->

All charms were gone (including my torch which I found myself) except 1x 5% allres / 5% FHR small charm (which was in my cube???) and annihilus.
Furthermore my inventory was filled with minor healing and mana potions.

All items were still there.

I don't understand it.

Was I hacked? or were the charms dupes and are the potions the original stuff for creating the dupes? why did this happen after 7 months?

I have never given somebody my password.

tsssss. I play legit, don't use hacks and third party programs.

Only thing I do is trading, but why do my other chars in that account don't miss anything? They also have somewhat like the same charms.

It's to weird, I hope somebody can explain what has happened here.

looks like your acct has been hacked, its easy to fill your invnetory,
put on a belt, go to akara,
hold shift and right click on a healing pot, remove belt, equip belt, repeat

were your passwords the same as the forums?
its a good idea to change your passwords occationally

Only the official blizzard forum, where you need your pw you are using with your accounts. I altered it right after I found out indeed.

So you think someone hacked me and made a joke by giving me minor pots so I would be thinking about how that is possible?

Argh, he got me, very frustrating. Now I have to find those #$%@ charms again. Took me a while. And probably they will poof on me again after a while, cause almost nothing is legit anymore it seems :cry:

So I guess I'm lucky it only happened to half a character?

nec torches are cheaper than annis, not sure why they would have left it and your 5res fhr sc along with your gear

was that the only char they took stuff from?
have any friends that might know your password and want to play a trick on you?

Yep that was the only char. I never gave my friends my pasword, but I've got a few friends which I know for 28 years now who could probably guess it ^^.

So I hope that is the case.

In the mean time I'll just search for some new charms :grin:

I mean trading is a fun part of the game I think ^^
