OT: Dacar is changeing forums?

It appears our mod, Dacar, is going to mod the OTF and is appearently isn't going to mod in the Classic forum anymore. His name isn't listed as the Mod anymore, nobody is. I'm hopeing he will pop in and give us an explaination, which I'm sure he will. This will give him 2 forums to mod the OTF and the Amazon forums. This move will of coarse crush any hopes he had of haveing a social life, spending time with his family, eating, drinking, going to the bathroom and getting even a minutes sleep. I wish him the best if he is leaving Classic.

Alot of people are quitting active playing of Diablo, or cutting back. The problems of the past few months are just going to erode good, honest players. I heard of alot of players from USWest going to east a few months ago.....well, they are back, the sharks over there went full tilt duping I was told. More games are appearing with "i quit" as the name. And my friends in LoD are endlessly msging each other about enigma this and high rune that, disgusting. People are finding other games and cutting back playtime here.

So are you really leaving us, Dacar? You were here at the beginning of this forum, we only get a few new threads each day and a couple dozen posts per day, and many more visits. The climate here improved greatly since you took over. Not to mention names, but the main Mod at the inception was too ban-happy, as if it was the Community Forum here under a state of siege, and heads needed to roll. But classic isnt as competitive as LoD, and even tho we are top heavy in newbies in the games, most of the people who have found their way here are fairly benign.

Maybe they aren't confirming this cuz they don't have a Mod for poor little us...

I will be around to help him get his feet on the ground for a while or as long as he wants me around. He will have a lot of questions and will need the help of you guys.

Thanks for the kind words, Fearlessone. Yes, I was here at the forum inception and I will miss you guys. But it's not like I am quiting the game and the forums. I just needed a change of pace. This Classic forum has come a long way since the beginning. We've had our growing pains. We've had some fun along the way too. This is a full fledged forum now and there is no chance to shut it down. Thanks for everything you have given me. I appreciate the folks here and will visit often.

Well this forum really needs a new mod because we've seen what people can do to it pretty quickly while our beloved moderator was in real life. This site could use a global/super moderator group to shoot down any spam they see in any forum.

Moderators, schmoderators, we're doing ok. As for someone saying that Dacar hadnt been here very long, not true. I recall that he was an assistant Moderator at the end of the "All Things Classic" thread, which is when this Forum was born.
