If i use..say the Shield type in a Aegis (219 str req) Can I then have decent block? Or will the Redemption Aura, the extra dmg, fire absord and he other stuff balance the loss of def and max block? And if I use duel Phoenix, will the aura stack?

The only place I find a Phoenix to be of any use is for WW, PvM (i don't play PvP, so I wouldn't know about that) since CtC's don't work with WW. The Auras should stack, giving you a SLVL 30 Redemption. Imho, the bad thing about it is the 40% Chance to Cast Firestorm; it will do a serious number on your attack/killing speed, as there is a casting delay on it which turns all skills (not sure about normal attack?) red for a second or so.

Is there any point to a stacked redemption? afaik it's a 1 point wonder.

If you make Phoenix for pvm, I wouldn't bother for max block, since it requires so much Dex for it to be maxed. Just use EbotdZ and Phenoix for Weapon/Shield, not Pheniox weapon.

Redemption Aura is really helpful. Pheniox Zerk is a waste

the reason he did'nt know what zerk means is cuz he is on europe. so am i . in euro we say botd ba and not ebotdz it took me 3 days to know what the people meant by botd ba , but it took like 2 years for me 2 get that west + east say ebotdz. phoenix + ebotd cb is the best
