If nobody has it, you should be able to buy either of those rings for 200k a piece in a CS game. Look for the high level chars, they are bound to find oodles of them, keeping only a few and preferring to sell those they kept for gambling gold.
If nobody is interested, up the ante. (Offer more gold).

I find it works best to start off offering people something, anything, for items they have. They might already have decided to give them to me, but I'll still ask if they want me to hold it for them for transferring to another char. That gives off a positive vibe and they're far more likely to let you share in their loot when next they MF.
Directly asking if you can have something gives off a negative vibe imho and should be avoided.

So "I would like to trade for or buy a manald from somebody on east sc ladder" would be a very good way to start a post.

Terms of the trade can be discussed later, just start off with showing your willingness to give them something in return. :)

so far i havent got any luck getting one. classic on west ladder is terrible every one is a greedy bastard, and there is no one willing to help at all, all they want is leech cow exp grap items from you etc.

the lack of players doesnt help either. compare to lod its alot worst

ehh.. just make an game N Manald O Gold or something like that..

i bet you have hard time getting manald because of ppl are not saveing those. few days back i bought 30% nagel from a4 shop in a cs run :girly:

you need little more patience to be succesfull in classic than lod

i found some rare ring with manal leech, i've been using it since then lvl 50 barb now, just barely hanging in hell. i found angelics doing a nm meph run, btw whats a good level to gamble martels? or where can they drop the most?

I am not entirely certain you can gamble exceptional items in classic.
Though I believe there are people here who do know.

You may simply want to imbue a mart.
Check out the Builts and Usefull sticky, you will find Zodijackl's guide to imbueing, that very good resource should answer any questions you may have concerning.

It is possible to gamble exceptional items in Classic.
Chances of gambling an exceptional item (versus normal item) increase with character level.

That is good to know, I usually only gamble amulets and recently went for some belts. Since the mods I wanted are quite low, I just gambled with a level 21 though and naturally at that level I didn't get any exceptional belts.
