Which Bow should you put faith in.

What bow type is the better one to put faith in. I was talkin with some bowzons who went with a Xbow for the higher damage on the weapon to begin with. My initial plan was a grand matron or matriarch bow with at least +2 to skills on it. Now i'm a bit confused about which bow to use.

GMB with +3 skills if you can get the IAS (which is fairly easy) from other gear. Crossbows are too slow to be efficient killers. Zons are powerful because they can deal so much damage in very little time and crossbows just cant cut it when you compare damage per frame or damage per second.

Thats what i thought any good idea where they drop. been mfin cows n pit for the last few days in hell havent seen a damn one. not even one to attempt to socketize.

As all the other class items, they're fairly rare.
That's why they are so expensive(10 HRs for a GMB +3 4s on EUSCL).

imho: Mat bow > GMB. you need less ias to hit 7fpa GA's, opening up gear slots for other mods (OW comes to mind).

Use a +15ed colusal xbow to cow. If you use multi its deadly. Never strafe with an xbow though.

For Bows.
Strafe (or pvp)=Mat Bow
Multi (multi/strafe hybrid)=GMB

i agree w/ yoss, but i wanna throw in my thoughts:
if you need/want more gear options go with mat (like for a mf zon or jav hybrid). if you're going to load up on ias and have the stats for it gmb.

if you want to use it on other builds other than zon, shadow.

edit: i was doing public baal runs the other day and a +2 white gmb dropped and everyone picked it up to look but then dropped it. guess no one wanted to try to socket it.

I was plannin to use my bowazon a straight up PVP guided//strafe. So i assume then Mat bow would be better then GMB for that set up. I was cowin with my HDin easier then with my bowazon for the time being. Anyone know the ilvl of the Mat or GMB to give me a better idea of where i should be to hopefully get one. I just took a stab in the dark and went with pit, throne and cow.

And why does everyone says mat is better. Don't most bow-azon lack good damage? So I'd say GMB is better for the bigger damage, IAS ain't a big problem with faith, certainly with strafe.
So I don't get it.

GMB is my favourite, then goes Matri and then Ward bow.

Whoa run pits with no MF to get socketed items.... since when? I've always ran with MF. only way i could lower my MF "if i should i mean" is if i took away my mf sc's and my perfect gheeds. all my other MF % comes from enigma and Ptopaz shako. i'll have to try it with no MF on cept for those two pieces lol. That might be the reason why i dont find many socket items from pits lol.

every possible gray socket items has a better change of magic or rare if you put on mf. So you really need to get ride of it when searching for socket. On the other hand, with mf you might find that good item trade for it, starts to get complicated.

If YOU want to find some, get ride of all the mf you can.

I see lots of bowazons using mat bow cause of the IAS + it looks better imo
