Greetings to all. I have a question, and before you begin laughing uncontrollably, just remember; I have a large whip. Question: Why the frack can't I socket my Titans Revenge? I've never used one, but I can't understand why Larzak won't socket it. You can socket a bow. Why not Titans? Thanks in advance for the time. :lipsrsealed:

Throwing weapons get less if you throw them and eventually their number becomes 0. Where would the socketed gem/jewel/rune be then ?

its got quantity, there are several javelins in that pack.... cant socket them all!

But Titans always replenishes stack...therefore it never runs out. So, there would always be at least one there......so.....Again....why?

Their amount can become 0, so for a few seconds, none will be left. I think that makes sense, although I admit that your point makes sense as well.

Thanks for the help, Krischan. Your point makes sense, and I admit I never thought of that. Although I believe that if it replenishes stack, you should be able to socket it. A nice litefacet into Titans would be very nice. Thanks again, bro.

Actually ,the fact that you can't socket javelins is irrational in its rationality. What I mean? It makes perfect sense using real world criteria that an Item that is actually many items (a stack of javelins) can't be really socketed ,else where the hell the socket would be,right? But take a look around the diablo world. What do you see?

A horadric cube that is a tiny box that can contain large armors and shields. Heroes that can wreck havoc against the legions of hell and banish powerful demons to the abyss while they are totally unable to open a chest without a key (ok assassins can heh).
Alchemy,magic,necromancy,divine power...NO,it doesn't make any sense to me why javelins or throwing weapons can't get a bloody socket after all. Patch 1.12, allow sockets to such items please.

BTW, nonmagical throwing weapons disappear when their number becomes 0, perhaps because there's no magic in them which would allow that. However, I ask myself how magical, non-replenishing ones are repaired when their number becomes 0 :scratch:

Yeah, if charsi can make 100 thunderstroke javelins with 1 gold, why can't she just sell them?

Only replenishing throwing weapons cost 1 gold to repair, the others are more expensive IIRC. Thunderstrokes don't replenish.

but yet on a crappy rare with some sorta of pointless charge (i.e Bhammers or frost blast) somthing u never use, but if you do, it cost a bazzilion gold to repiar, but a main wep like t-shrokes take 1 gold to replensh the whol stack...
