View Full Version : Pubby idiocy
I'm sick of seeing this kind of stuff. Why do people have to behave like this?
I just had a pointless argument with some fool about him using a bug tal armor, he said it was 1 of 7 that were "legit" and that his "friend who works for blizzard" made it. Which is a totally absurd thing to say since btal's have been around for god knows how long
Wouldn't it be obvious that an item referred to as "bug" tal armor is in fact totally impossible to be legit?
I'm never duelling pubby games again.

Bugged tal armour must have dropped legit for at least 1 person at some point in time....then gotten a hold of by duper and mass duped.
And not to burst your bubble but a lot of people use duped items that require a temp perm every game. Plus, someone using btal armour doesnt instantly make them godly. My sin eats sorcs for breakfast  ...btal armour or not.

I'm never duelling pubby games again.nah, it's so much fun to duel a dupewhore and wallop them with legit gear.
besides, if they are foolish enough to start BM'ing you, well, you have the advantage of being able to leave a game without your bod.
think about it.

Didn'cha know that everyone knows someone who works for Blizz and can get free "godlies"/hack your account/hack your computer/dupe/etc...? It's a well known fact, no? :)
I wouldn't shy away from pubbies forever, they can bring great entertainment. Besides, the people using the bugged stuff usually aren't any better than your standard mediocre dueler. Pubs = teh suck. Gear isn't what it is all about, especially that bugged stuff - it can simply confer an advantage for equally skilled players, under the same playing conditions.
Often enough you hear - "My account >>> than yours nub"
Fair enough my friend, the reverse usually applies for dueling ability though - "Your skill/dueling >>> than his"
Maturity at its finest.

The best thing I see in pubs is "1v1 for accounts???? DODGE???"
That's probobly my favorite, especially the s/e the second they die. People act like its really gonna happen. Also when people s/e in rage over a lost duel or nk only to realize that their char is unperm. I've seen a blizz sorc type "brb to own you," s/e with their gear on the ground, pick up the body and be totally naked. All her gear was unperm...

Listen, nabs.
A long time ago, thanks to a server error, the 1 or 2 highest dupers on east and west, and ONLY those 1 or 2, managed to import items from single player to realms. They could basically create any item they want. This occured in both .09 and 1.10. However, in 1.10 a restriction was added that items could only have certain parameters now, which made most ridiculous items like "whites" dissapear instantly. However, items that carried smaller prefixes/suffixes, like ones that already existed on items, could be added to other items. Hence the creation of wizgloves/tals armors. These 1/2 dupers taught no one how they did it, and left for better things.
These items never dropped legitly for anyone, they were created in single player and imported to realms, then during a server crash imported from realms to ladder.

I suppose that's how I belive how hacked items like wizzy gloves and "bug" tals though its not really bug and hacked are made. Then mass duped.
Then I've also heard that 08 items were dropped or imported over from 08 chars by glitch. So pre 1.10 items were actually dropped, then mass duped.
Pubs has always been like that, quit your crying you're not the only one, we're all annoyed as hell. We should get a mod quick to cut useless cry threads like this.

I personally find it entertaining to hear some pubbie raging.
I don't make the mistake of conversation with them though. If they start to bug me, I just squelch.
Lately, I get the most joy out of refusing to perm people. I love it when they ask "can I see your gear?" and then listen as they go crazy when I dont fall for it.
Some moron always perms them though. That bugs me a little. I guess those that would do it are dupe owners too.
Pubs can be fun, just dont let them get to you.

Its really fun if you can catch somebody who wants a perm. What you can do is convince everybody in the game to go to a different game while not entering trade screen with duper, and have it so the person can't hear you. They probably just cry to their friends to perm, but it gives a nice warm fuzzy feeling making extra trouble for dupers.
Against people who ask to 1v1 for accounts, I just accept. Its really funny on the verge of the fifth game they "lag out". Ahhh, good times in pub dueling.

another tactic i've thought of using, is to open the trade screen and then quickly exit the game too. if you can rock out, BEFORE them, their 'perm' didn't work :innocent:

s/e and go find some less irritating pubs.
