i have a pvm magezon... skills are as follows

20 cold arrow
20 freezing arrow
20 exploding arrow
20 immo arrow
1 in fire arrow going to pump this for the rest of my levels

For bows im thinking of going with ice for my main wep and having phoenix on switch for cold immunes or fire/cold immunes.

Merc is using infinity and right now i use a 1/12/3/345 faith and im guessing the 30%/-20% cold dmg from ice will be a major boost to my cold arrow.

I know this build isnt the average zon build but any thoughts would be appreciated.

Go with simple frostmaiden with ice, works perfect. Fire skill are not that good as they used to be, and the coldskills, certainly with ice, are just better.

Soma say they run cows as fast as lightning fury amazons, and that is rather fast I think.

Simply strafe CI down with faith or go hydride with lightning fury. I think both will be years faster then using immolation arrow, *** cast delay.

anyone know the location of a good frost-maiden guide? i had no idea i was making one when i started this build.

Is immo really that bad though? i have 20 points invested in it already and id have to rebuild if its not going to work.

Immo isnt a really good bowskill, since its on a timer. But if you can afford it, it would be a different build and fun.

theres a frostmaiden guide here (http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=129705), although it doesn't mention anything about the ice bow...it looks a little outdated.

here's my 5 minute guide:

weapon: ice mat bow / cta/lidless on switch
armor: nigma mp (tele is useful, u can get away with base str) or coh for res
helm: nightwings (cold facet'd)
boots: treks
gloves: bow skills/ias rare or crafted...mana leach is really nice
belt: arach's, nosferatu's
ring1: ravenfrost
ring2: soj
ammy: highlord's, mara's
charms: bow skill gc's, mana/res sc's
merc: act 2 might merc with infinity

stats: enough str for gear (might be able to get away with base str...i think i did), enough dex to wear bow, rest vita.

skills: 20 cold arrow, 20 ice arrow, 20 frozen arrow, 20 valk...should have plenty left over to do w/e u want (i still have 8 points at 88 im not sure what im going to do with).

basically you want to stack up on +skills to get your cold damage up. since most of your attack is elemental and you won't be recieving much mana from mana leach, an soj and mana charms are important. use your merc and valk as tanks and to kill anything you can't.

I like, I'll add my two cents on a build.

+3 Ice Mat Bow / CtA + Lidless or Harmoney
Treachery
Nightwings (CHAM)
Mara's Kliedascope / Crescent Moon
Arachnid's Mesh / Razortail
+3/20% IAS Gloves (Mana leech would be amazing)
Stone of Jordon
Stone of Jordon / Manald Heal
Silkweaves

20 Strafe
20 Freezing Arrow
20 Cold Arrow
20 Valk
1 Into All Passives
Rest into Decoy or Penetrate (not really sure on this one)

That'll net about 4k average Freezing Arrow damage. Strafe can be used for a level 22 Frost Nova and level 15 Venom (which could help quite a bit I think). It's probably not very good but I like to add input then maybe the more experienced people will come in and I learn a thing or two.

I ended up making a phoenix bow and i havent truly tested it yet, but one cool thing i did notice about it is that when you strafe w/ it will sometimes spam firestorm with no regard for the built in casting delay.

So what ive been doing is casting immo then strafe while the immo cools down to get off a bunch of firestorms, then immo again it works pretty well for single targets, plus phoenix max dmg on a gm bow is like 400 so the physical damage is pretty good there too. Groups of CI mobs are hard for me though because with strafe the firestorms just kind of point everywhere and dont really do anything, it looks badass though.
