gguys, is it better to max foh or holy shock as synergy for foh?

i would max conv, but my question is that one:rolleyes: :rolleyes:

i know it looks obvious, BUT,

some ppl say that at a higher lvl, its better to put more in holy shock and less in foh. this true?

You obviously are making a v/t or a mage,right? A pure templar (foh) maxes both, the hybrids usually split 30 points between the two. Google for a d2 skills calculator, input your total skills from items and calculate your max damage output with any distribution between foh/hs. If you can't find it pm me.

dont max ur conviction.. add up to 12 points n max the rest

coz ur gear would max ur conv for u.. saving points for wat eva u wan

thx for answer, however thats not the answer im looing for.

i said i need to know how many points in foh and h shock. coz some ppl say at a higher lvl its better to pu more in hshock than foh, evern though i tried using skill planner and the result is better if i maxed foh......

any suggestions pleasE?

Again. If you are planning to make a pure foh paladin,you will max both foh/holy shock. If you are making a cross between smite/foh (v/t) or hammers/foh (mage), you won't max either of foh or holy shock. You will split about 30 skill points there (one of the common practices). How many to put into each skill (foh or holy shock) depends totally on your gear. With eg +10 skills you need a certain distribution and with +15 you need another. Simple as that. There is no clear number to be given to you by us at this point.

I made one once, that had both of those skills maxed. I think his foh damage got to 8.4k. Not really sure if that's very good, but I heard some can get close to 9k damage.
