just curious, is HC Classic D2 active at all? if it is, I might consider putting down expac and coming over to classic. I love classic, I just dislike the small stashes....

If so, East? West?

Is Javazon good in classic? something else?

Javazon can indeed work, might have some trouble with the immunes, but most elemental specialists will have that. I have not looked into a lightning and poison zon, but I don't think that will be very effective in Classic. It will probably lack a bit of 'punch' later on.
There are some good build idea's in the builds sticky. Pick and customize. :)
You should be able to find some HC players in the account names sticky.
Indeed, small stashes means more mules and more discriminatory hoarding procedures.
