Hello i am kinda new to this forum , i have played d2 for like 2 years (not straight) and i have some questions conserning a Bowazon, i have a rare crossbow not rly sure about the typ of cross bow it got like 20 % ias and
150-360 ish dmg i was wondering if its good or useless. Also what gloves (got a pair of 2 bow/cross 10 str 16 agi and some res rare ones) boots (got gore)
and belt (got nos coil) should a pvm/cs bowazon use? as helm i got a dream tiara and i think thats ok atleast but keep the suggestions comming.

the common agreement about bowazons is speed over damage. Except for the rare buriza-zons, all zons use a fast bow. With some IAs gear you can easily get a lot of arrows out there, often is this better then some arrow that do more damage per shot. You need to look at damage per minute, not damage per shot.

get some gloves with speed. Preferable rare with some +skills, res... But if you can't have those, they are expensive, try getting some laying of hand, or other gloves with IAS. I'd never use nos coil but always razortails for the extra pierce you have. And try to get the needed IAS from my helm and a treachery armor. Does that dream tiara has IAS? If not, make sure to hit the preferred breakpoint and perhaps changing for an other helm.

critical strike is a good thing to max.

Laying of Hands are the best gloves for a PvM bowazon imo. It has 20IAS, godly fire res and the 350ed to demons is just to good to not use. Razortail is also a very good choice, its dirt cheap and has 33% pierce. 15dex is always goos and the 10max damage, gives you good damage. Its like having an extra 10max damage grand charm. Other great items vs price are Wartravelers, a low pair would be available for pgs, the 15-25 damage from them will give you a nice boost in damage. For helm there are some nice options like a Andariels Visage if you need the extra speed and a 2sox Giant Skull gives you knockback and 2 slots to fill with whatever you need. For amulet there is a great one, Atma amulet gives you chance to cast Amplify damage, it works best with strafe(will trigger faster) and it also cost only a few pgs. For rings a Ravenfrost is a must, even a low one is a good one. The 'cannot be frozen' is very nice, a frozen ama is a dead ama. It also gives you dex, ar and some cold damage. Other could be a nice life, mana or dual leech ring if you dont have leech from somewhere else.

Resists shouldnt be you main concern, you dont(shouldnt) get hit much and if you do, you should rely on life leech. This ofc doesnt help much against souls, as you will get instakilled most likely with a low life glass cannon bowa.

Speed is king, try this IAS calculator to see what your breakpoints are: http://diablo2.ingame.de/tips/calcs/weaponspeed.php?lang=english and try to reach as high breakpoint as possible.

For skills, try getting Multishot to 10-15(after +skills), critical strike to lvl 16(after +skills), have a strong Valkyrie this is your shield and defense(personally I like to max this), penetrate is always good to put points in, if you use Razortail belt have Pierce to lvl 9(after +skills)
