Starting to play again

Just decided to get back into D2. Havent played in a long time. I've started a frenzy barb, only level 6 atm. Is there anything you guys would recommend doing to start out, or to get through the early levels quickly? I'd like to get back to higher level play/mfing fast, so I can make more characters and such.

As much as I hate to say it...you're probably going to want to start a Sorc, or a Hammerdin, but with no enigma, I'd go with the Sorc. Welcome to the Forums btw.

Really? Would a sorc be easy to level untwinked? Dont know anyone who plays the game for rushing or items or anything.

I'm confused by your last post, I can't tell if it's sarcasm...or half sarcasm...or just non-sarcasm confusion. Sorc's are probably your best bet because of Teleport, and some pretty good damage, check out the Guide Library in the Sorceress forums for something that tickles your fancy...heh. Meteorbs, blizz-ballers, and almost any dual-tree build will work well for you. And If you're being sarcastic then...yeah...you don't need this post.

Oh okay, don't worry about it really. If you're on Bnet, you're pretty much fine, a lot of the time I'll make an "act1 start" game or something like that, and we(the party) will usually end up going pretty far, and if not, just make individual games, it might be a bit slow, but it's better than doing it with a frenzy barb. As for items, blizz-sorcs/meteorbs/blizz-ballers are pretty item independent, just check the guides out if you're curious.

Cool, thanks. I had a blizz sorc a while ago..but didnt actually play through with it, got rushed instead. Guess Ill do a blizz sorc again, MF a bit, then start some other chars. Thanks pal!
