Masteries and Leap Attack

I am planning out a new Dragoon I want to build for fun, and I was wondering, if I am going to be using leap attack as my main attack, would it be worth it to invest in a mastery? In simpler terms, will a weapon mastery affect my leap attack's power or speed?

Mastery will give the same bonus to leap attack as it will to everything else.

Mastery will boost the ED%, AR%, and Critical Strike% of *ALL* of your attacks just the same. This includes Leap Attack, Concentrate, Berserk, or even just plain old standard attack. At least 1-point in Mastery should be mandatory for *ALL* barb builds, except for Singers.
