I plan on making a botd soon and am wondering whats the best possible sword for the job...I know collosus blades are what everyone prefers but is it possible to find a superior 15% enhanced damage ethereal collosus blade??
Also, what would be considered a perfect superior weapon/armor...is it 15% enchanced damage/defense? Thanks

grief is stronger than a ebotd in terms of damage output. but of you want to make a ebotd, make it in a zerker axe (better damage, lower req. and more flexible in terms of gears). If you really want to go with swords, then yea go with a eth 15%ed collosus blade.

Yes, but they're very hard to find. You can either go herd some cows, or trade for one. Some superiors can give a little AR bonus as well.

Arbing is right imo, if you insist on swords use cb but axes are superior in terms of various item choices. When making a botd do not forget beast or doom and these cannot be made in swords. If you are sure that you will never dual wield and always carry a shield I would still go with axes for lower requirements on zerkers.

CB is the only sword that can get 6 sockets, and yes, it is possible to get an eth 15% sup CB, though finding one would be about as hard as finding the zod for botd.

The crystal sword family gets 6 sockets as well.

PB is good for a Grief, but unfortunately the average dmg on them is too low for something like ebotd.

I know, Zod in there is almost always a waste. I've mentioned it for the sake of accuracy.

Really now. 15% would be nice, but I would make it out of the first (and probably only) ethereal 6-socketable CB I find. =P

True true. And, your luck with the roll will mean more than the extra 15% most likely.
