Favorite Lesser Build?

Hey, everybody. Just wanted to know what everyone's favorite PvM lesser/weaker(you know what I mean, no uber-builds) Barb build is and why?

Mine is Leap Attacker.

The thing about Barbarians is that the overwhelming majority of their killing skills get heavily used already (everything but Bash, Stun, and maybe Leap Attack), so the only difference between deviants and non-deviants is what they do with the rest of their skill points.

With that said, I'm growing myself a Sword Master Barb. He keeps a pair of Wisps, a pair of Ravenfrosts, a pair of Dwarf Stars, a pair of Lightsabers, a pair of Frostwinds, and a pair of Flamebellows on him. He switches between those to keep his Absorbs up (40% Absorb against all damage types that he's facing), but his main rig is a pair of Wisps, and then dual Flamebellows on one switch and dual Frostwinds on the other. He also maxes Battle Cry for the damage reduction, and loads up on PDR (Sol'd Gladiator's Bane, SolSol Circlet of Life Everlasting, Amulet of Life Everlasting).

The best part is that he's extremely, extremely sturdy, despite the fact that he doesn't equip a single piece of resists gear. With 5 points in Natural Resistance (40% Resall) and 3 Anya Quests (30% Resall), he has -30% resistance in Hell... but with 40% Absorb, that's essentially the equivalent of 74% Resist All. It's nice getting all of the "resists" you'd ever need from so few pieces of gear.

Actually, I lied. That's the second best part. The BEST part is that he has a level 30+ Inferno and Arctic Blast, and Barbs look *AWESOME* while casting those two skills. For Inferno, he crosses his swords above his head and leans back, looking upwards. For Arctic Blast, he actually leaps into the air and hovers with his swords at his side. They don't kill anything, but they are so ridiculously cool-looking that I use them nonstop (and Arctic is good for spreading some chill- over 5 seconds duration in hell!).

(Ironically my IK Barb is my fav player. more than my hammerbore or my light infinity rubbish)

I'd take that a lot more seriously if every PvP player/Uber Runner on the planet didn't keep a Call To Arms on switch. :tongue:

My favorite barb build is by far the Singer barb. I've made many of these Barbs - even before Enigma and synergies - scary eh?

These guys are durable and make fantastic crowd controllers. Yes, all barbs have access to their warcries but many don't use anything beyond Shout, BC and BO. People on my list invite my barb to their Uber games - simply because it is so much faster with him there.

I have a high level one at the moment and use him for everything - hell rushing included. Their tele speed is on par with a sorc, their life is easily one of the highest in the game, and if you set your merc up nicely the bosses are dispatched easily enough. These guys are tanks, dying is a rarity.

My favorite's the singer, but a Taunt/Frenzy barb would come very close in second
