Quad turbocharged W-16 pumping out 1001 horsepower. Capable of over 250 miles per hour on optional tires. Does well over 200 on stock tires. Think I've been drooling over this thing much?

At 250+, not even the civilian helicopters can keep up with you. But the car is so rare/expensive/stands out that they could easily track you down.

They had a test with those, going over a certain speed the camera won't even notice you.

Pfft, those cars ride so low you just need to put some pebbles on the road. Besides, anyone who buys one probably has the money to go build their own private track. I wouldn't take that car out on any road.

There's only 300 of them.. =(
Unless you live on alkali flats, the only purpose of these cars is to allow speed nerds to masturbate all over them.

i thought not :)
I'm not a car nerd so normally not my thing but that show seemed somewhat entertaining.
Although it did have that annoying guy from Brainiac on it, he makes me shudder in horror every time I see him.

Don't forget the scantily clad foreign models lounging over it.
the bugati is old news.. no ordinary person could ever drive it. The point of any kind of sports car is to get from point a to point b in the quickest amount of time. For the bugati that's not the case when you have to stop for gas every hour or so.
It's mainly just for show... read a bit about its history if you want to understand that.

AFAIK none of the numbers for that car have been proven by outside sources yet.
As for being caught by the police, they just have to wait the 3 mintues it takes you to burn through your gas tank and ask all tow truck companies to report all calls.
Don't forget the scantily clad foreign models lounging over it.
In order to sell the car to the aforementioned ******s.

What??!! Here's a high speed test (http://videos.streetfire.net/search/veyron/0/80cc18c7-a132-4348-b2f4-989c0060a76f.htm) between Bugati and few other supercars. The Bugati went over 400kmph and the test drivers barely broke a sweat.

If you can buy the car, you're not worried about buying gas. As for no ordinary person being able to drive it, all the reviews of it I've read of people who have actually driven it have said it's very easy to drive.

Screw that. If I have the dough, and I want performance, at that level I'll go with a aircraft. Granted, you can't break the Sound barrier in the US, but its more realistic in terms of things you can do.

The sad part is that they sell for 1 million Euros (1.3 million bucks I believe) and they're going to end up losing money on those cars.
And if you want to go 250, you have to have an appointment where they bring the tires and a semi-pit crew to a closed course.

I really doubt anyone would be that stupid to go 250 on any public road. Not only that, but in such an expensive and rare car.
