2. Trade for one. You'll most likely end up with a duped one though.
3. Mooch one.

I prefer option 3 myself.

Your chances to find a SoJ are pretty low though, so you should find someone you trust and wants to get rid of his, so you donīt end up with a duped one.

Last ladder I didnt find a Single SoJ, this ladder I found three.
One on SC / LOD from Hell Summoner or a monster next to him,
one on SC / CL from Nm Mephisto
and one on HC / LOD from Nm Andy.

Aren't there any other skiller rings? I had a self found stone of jordan before my account expired and I really miss it now. Unfortunately I don't recall ever seeing any sort of skill ring apart from SoJ. OTOH I really wasn't looking for anything like that after I got the SoJ.

Aren't there any other skiller rings? Apart from SoJ, Bul-kathos Wedding Band ring also gives +skill.

Holy Crap!

I just got a stone of jordan to drop from a nightmare meph run on my single player restart character!

This is my second stone of jordan in less than a year total of playing D2 and only about 3 months total worth of playing more than about half an hour a day.


Both of my sojs dropped from NM meph.

If I only had my own experience to judge by I would certainly assume that soj isn't too rare, certainly less rare than a huge variety of other items I farmed for but never saw!

the whims of computer gaming random number generation are fickle, strange and unfathomable indeed to us mere mortals.

SOJ's not rare? Hmmm, I've had a few of them drop for me over the years. But bul-kathos! Not a one! There's a BUNCH of stuff that's never dropped for me!

So I'm just thankful whenever something does drop for me that's worth a lick!

I've gotten one bk in my trials on bnet, it was quite funny how I got it though. When I had my bowazon, I was just messing around in a hell game and I went to cold plains to BO and my merc killed a fallen and he dropped a unique ring...you get the rest :grin:
