- When does this clone shows up ? I have heard many a tales of those uber things he can drop, and my current toons really are bad when there are more than 1 player involved. SO I could use some of those sc psn and that anniahalus thingy too.

Flip, stickied in this forum you find a thread where people have posted their accounts. These people are volunteering to help others out in the situation you were in, it is better to try and whisper to one of them and see if they are available than waiting in this forum (not often checked by many).

I actually was just leveling and key running and wanted to offer up the D-clone to whoever wanted to kill him. Wasn't really asking for help but I guess I wasn't that clear - I figure if they kill him it's thier Anni. I really have no hold on the clone, he just happen to show up in my game (twice now).

I did notice the stickied thread above... but it's all about the Ubers with NO mention of D-Clone? Also, on the "trusted list" there's only 2 players on US W NL SC? There's a few others but not many SC/NL-

I don't really feel comfortable begging someone for help anyway- even though they are kind enough to offer.

I was actually hoping whoever I gave the D-Clone to would "throw me a crumb" for giving him and the anni up :smiley: but I'm not that greedy - it's just a game after all.

If you were on USEast SC L, I'd kill him and give you the anni, even though it has a chance to be better than mine. To me, if he spawns in your game and you request help the charm should be yours, as he's no threat against a setup character.

Sorry to say I'm on West/NL...
But - Another example of why this site ROCKS! Great players hang out here!

WAAAY back when - when I first started playing DII "Ladder" seemed to me to be a race to 99. Didn't see the reason to play Ladder- Then things changed and they allowed special items and such - Ladder Only. I kinda though that was a low-blow to us NL players - I had so much gear on multiple NL accounts that starting all over on Ladder just didn't appeal to me so I've been NL since the start.

On a side note, I've got a Tesla-Froster in the 60's that I plan on building to a D/C-Killer. I've spent most on Lite Dmg to start but have started on the cold side of things. Got most the gear sans the Black & Duress but have the runes. Will be doing key runs with other characters to get him some more gear, biggest prob I have is resisits (of course) but he'll come along. If he doesn't work out I'll cookie-cut a Frost-Zealot like the guide says - I'll have the gear for him by then anyway :rolleyes:

Nice, Flip10thMtn. Hope it works out for you, and btw I meant to say Non Ladder, although my Javelin Paladin almost has the proper gear to be a 1 point uber smiter on East Ladder. :)
