Merc Exp Bug?

My merc's experience is higher than experience need for the next level?

I looked around but couldn't find anything. Anybody know?

Merc's can't be higher level than you. And they also can't be lvl 99. :azn:

This bug is semi-known. I had the same thing, and posted it in the SPF here (http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=481548&highlight=merc).

Jackson - They can't be higher than you, but their exp can be higher than their next level. (I was 21-22, merc was 18 [should've been 19] but his exp was messed.)

This bug fixed itself within 5 minutes of noticing it.

Also fun are the 0 hp mercs who won't heal, but die with 1 hit.

Have fun finding new merc bugs! There's plenty of them.

But I thought you can hire level 99 mercenaries? (Act I, II, III & V)

The only reason this happened is that b4 he lvled to 18 he killed a creep with a set ammout of xp and it went towards the next lvl
