k is it possible to roll runewords or some other items cuz i have tried to roll some items and they dont do n e thing lol. this confuses me so answers would help

When people talk about rolling runewords, they mean unsocketing the runeword (via the Hel+TP scroll cube formula) and sticking in new runes.

Yeah. To add on to Evrae Altana's reply, people often "reroll" runewords because the base item costs a lot.

BTW, the runes are gone when that recipe is applied, of course.

yea, sometime's ita pain in the butt to get a roll that you want/ need on runewords. i rerolled for around 40 times!!! in order to get a 35%fcr spirit (which i need to get 125%fcr on my pally) on a 44 base resist crown shield for my LLD pally. Luckily it turns out to be 35%fcr and 110 mana.

when you cube the hel + TP, does it also get rid of the sockets, or just the socketed items such as the runes?

The sockets stay, only the contents are gone.
