Any Lance Barb there?

Anyone have a Lance Barb in close bnet?

What build and skill/stat allocation for this barb?

Well, if you're going to be making a WW barb, you'll have the same stats/skill setup as any other WW barb, except with a different mastery.

Likewise for other builds (besides WW).

Lance Barbs tend to be best-suited for Leap Attack, since it's not concerned about weapon speed and since it benefits from high-range weapons.

A good skill plan would be 20 in Leap, 20 in LA, 20 in BO, 20 in Mastery, rest in 1-point wonders and utility skills. You could also steal some points from Mastery to boost Natural Res, War Cry, Find Item, or whatever you wanted.

You could use a pike with any other skill, too, but it'll be really, really slow, unless you get a super-speedy Pike (plain pike stuffed with Ruby Jewels of Fervor) and use it for Whirlwind.

Another question here. Is all vit build good for this Barb?

You can go 3 ways:

1. As little str/dex possible, rest vita
2. Zero vita, all str (titan build)
3. Something in-between

As you can imagine, 1 kills the slowest but you die the least. Going 2 (titan) means owning monsters quickly, but also dying on occasion.

Now, if you play mostly 1-2 players games or in parties, the vita build does enough damage (alone or with the party) to kill stuff quickly. If you want to hack through monster packs quickly soloing in 8 player games, you'll probably want to try the titan or the in-between build.
