Which weapon setup will give me the most damage?

2x Ethereal breath of the dying axes

or

1x Ethereal breath of the dying axe + 1x Grief axe

My gear is

Arreats Guard + 40ed/15ias jewel
Fortitude Armor , 300 enhanced damage
2x Angelic rings, Angelic Amulet
Draculs Grasp gloves
Verdungos Belt , Damage reduced by 15%
Gore riders boots

Barb torch 13 att / 17 resists
Anni charm 18 att / 17 resists
2x All resistance +4 small charms

I have max resistance in hell.

My primary attack is whirlwind and berserk.

Actually the best damage from 2 axes would be Grief + Beast, especially if you swap over to berserk with the Grief while wielding the Beast-ouch.

Grief+Botd > Botd+Botd damage wise, however, killing monsters with 2Botds is very rewarding due to the fact that the damage is still sweet, mad leech and no repairing.

grief + beast will give the best damage output plus all that great mod from fanat aura. but if you pvm i guess anything is okay and as said above, no repairs and having lots of leech from ebotd saves you trips to town and you dont have to chuck any mana potions

Grief > eBotd because it has higher avarage damage since even lowest grief does more damage than PERF eBotd Ba. Grief +damage is added to BOTH min and max.

He are exact numbers:

414% ed eBotd ba does avarage damage of 363,5.

Crappiest grief (+340 damage) does 24+340 - 71+340 = 364-411 = 387,5 avarage damage

eBotd has higher Max damage, but way lower min damage too. And higher avarage damage is way better than high max damage, since you can always be lucky and hit Max.

And best weapons for BvC (or whatever 2 weapon user in pvp) are Grief + Beast.

I think you mean "Can't"? If it was "can", it would mean that EBotdZ "could" be better than GriefZ, "if" you "could" get lucky and hit max. Just take a notice that the chance of hitting the max damage on EBotdZ is as low of a chance as 0.275425%. Compare that to Grief's 2.12766%. It's almost 10 times greater. And this is before any multipliers (Deadly strike, strenght, +ED%, etc.), making EBotdZ look half-decent. With all the modifiers, EBotdZ has about 0.016846% chance to hit it's maximum damage, compared to Grief's 0.048247%, still almost quadruple.

Death is not better than EBotdZ, that's what I can say right away. It's too slow. The Deadly Strike does not compensate for the lost speed. Also, Curshing blow is next to useless in PvP.
