EthArchon Staff BotD WW??

Anyone have any experience with this? i hear the damage is pretty tight w/ min-max

Have not tried, but the eBotD Archon is more of a charger weapon as it's range is very short.

you know, when you review it...

Eth Archon Staff - 34 str 0 dex req, 86.5 avg damage, range of 2, and being a base 10 weapon you'd need 69% ias on it to WW at max speed. Range and speed drop the staff off the list I think.

Eth Ghost Spear - 122 str 163 dex, 86.5 avg damage, range of 5, being base speed 0, you need 59% ias for last ww frame, and BOTD will do that. Dex is a little high though seeing as you aren't going to be blocking.

Eth Great Poleaxe - 179 str, 99 dex, 86.5 avg damage, range of 5, base speed 0 - Since you don't wear a shield you won't be needing dex like the GS requires, and having 179 str is going to let you wear heavier armor which you might as well be wearing because you have no shield. I think that's the winner of the big-stick BOTD choices for a WWbarb.

Anyone else have any thoughts on that?

Mainly for style then, I guess. People have tried it, but knowing that it's not as effective as other weapons.

Guess a pure vita build might find some use for it's low reqs but still..

Yep, they rock. Mine was PVM but still rocked out in PVP (He had a Fortitude on, so I've never dueled casters, and I expect it'd be great with Enigma).

I'd definitely suggest you make one if you've got the extra runes and ethereal archon staff (or time to find one - it took me at least four weeks). Even if he doesn't work like you wanted, you've got a great novelty item.
