Need some help with a magic armor

This dropped for me earlier and I'm really trying to figure out if it's worth trying to make use of it. I'm not interested in what it's worth to sell. What I would love to know is what you guys think of it and is it worth trying to do anything with it.

Besides, this thing (for me) has such a wow factor to it since I've never seen a magic armor with such stats:

Godly Great Hauberk of the Mammoth
Def: 1330
165% enhanced defense
+35 to life

So, the question to the esteemed stats forum, what would you do with it? Could I get 2 sockets in it with the cube recipe? Would it be worth trying?

You can try socketing at Larzuk. He'll give 1 or 2 sockets. If you get 2 sockets, you can slap some PRubies in there for more life.

This armor has defence lower by 7 to be called leet - so it's not worth anything! :wink3:

Seriously, the stats are not overwhelming and I would not consider wasting a socket quest on this armor.
Any exceptional unique/set armor is much better and there are of course even cheap runewords (Stealth,Smoke,Lionheart) which I would prefer personally.
Defence is not so important in PvM and it's not superhigh anyways (Godly prefix can have up to 200%ED) and +life is nice, but low too (you can have up to +100 life on magic armors)
